Dear VPLF Supporters,
After careful consideration and thoughtful discussion of the most efficient way to support the Verona Library through charitable giving, the VPLF Board has decided to formally dissolve the organization. We firmly believe that the history and visibility of the Friends of Verona Public Library position them best to continue the mission of supporting a vibrant library that serves the community.
This decision was not made lightly as we, like you, love the library. We are also deeply proud of the work we have accomplished and the impact we have made in our community—none of which would have been possible without your generous support. We are therefore confidently dispersing all of our remaining funds to the Friends of the Verona Public Library. Aligned with our founding mission, the Friends will continue their valuable work to raise funds to enhance the library programs and resources offered to our community.
If you wish to continue supporting this important work, we encourage you to reach out directly the library or the Friends via the Verona Public Library website.

Mission Statement
The Verona Public Library Foundation, a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization, will support the Verona Public Library’s mission to promote literacy, advance knowledge, and enhance the quality of life for the community. The Foundation will solicit, receive and administer gifts and grants which will be used primarily for establishing an Endowment, funding capital improvements, and underwriting certain non-operating library enhancements outside the scope of the municipality-funded budget. All funds raised by the Foundation will be solely for the benefit of the Verona Public Library.
